Q.  What are the benefits of regular valets?
A. Recent reports and tests show that a dirty car can be a health hazard. In March the Daily Record printed and article titled “Is your car as dirty as a toilet seat?” which reported that the average family car harbours more bacteria than a toilet seat. Samples were taken from a selection of vehicles and showed up to 21 million bacteria. These cars are used by ordinary motorists on a daily basis and cars belonging to dog owners all contained potentially lethal traces of e-coli.

The article also commented that even the cars which appeared clean inside still hid billions of germs in crumbs of old food dropped by children, dog hairs down the back of seats or coffee stains around the cup holders. Most owners admitted they rarely valeted or cleaned their cars. A regular valet will help to eliminate the dangers posed by harmful bacteria and will improve the appearance of your vehicle.

Q. Will a thorough valet improve the value of my car?
A. Going on an average car a full valet before sale can increase your chances of selling your vehicle and even increase the value.

For example Parkers price guide lists the value of a 56 plate BMW 320i M Sport 4 door saloon in good condition at £15,435 whereas the value of the same vehicle in poor condition at £13,505 which is a difference of £1,930. The guide states poor condition to be “below average” this may include stains on the upholstery, scratches and blemishes in the paintwork. To keep your car looking pristine we would recommend a mini valet fortnightly to monthly and a full valet once a year.

Q. Can you remove all scratches and scuffs?
A. No, we can only remove smaller scratches and scuff, deep scratches incurred by vandalism such as key marks we are usually unable to rectify. However light scratches that have not broken deep into the paint we can usually polish out with our high speed rotary polisher.

Q. Will any of your products damage my car?
A. No, all products we use are PH neutral and Acid free which means they are safe on all finishes and environmentally friendly. Our wheel cleaners will not affect alloy wheels with a chrome or polished surface.

Q. What is detailing clay?
A. Detailing clay looks like putty in appearance. It is used to remove the bonded contaminants from paintwork that makes it feel rough to the touch. Even after washing and polishing an average car, clay will still remove lots of debris from the paintwork such as; tree sap, metal filings, and tar.
